Finally! My first portrait ever. Took some effort hmm.

This is my friend Ketaki.

Used HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 2H and 6H pencils and an HB mech pencil. Oh and an eraser and my index finger for smudging :P.

The face took about 3 hours, as so did the hair and the rest. So total of nearly 6 hours, spanned across two days. I had started it last Sunday, 15th October 2006. Just completed the face then. Didn't know how to do the hair back then. A DA member and my friend nehamithbawkar gave me some hints as to that, so many thanks to her! Also, thanks to KLSADAKO for introducing me to the circulism technique. :D

Anyway, had to take the photo tilted, because otherwise, it didn't look proper, because of the shadows and all. Hope you like it. Oh and I hope SHE likes it! Comments are most welcome and much needed, as this is my first attempt at a portrait.
